I was born on 7 May in 1990. 

I studied at the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, from which I received my B.A. degree. During the 4rth academic year, I completed a 8 month apprenticeship in the Law Office of Christos Chaskis in Thessaloniki with main field of activity the Administrative Law. Subsequently, I completed my 18 month mandatory internship in Athens in PNP Law firm  (1 month) and in the law office of Kostantinia Stamou & P. Papaioannou and Associates (17 months), mainly dealing with criminal law and civil law with emphasis on family law, and interim measures, based in Kolonaki, Athens.

Following my lawyer apprenticeship in Athens, I succeeded in the national competition of lawyers in Athens and then I moved to Thessaloniki. Since then I have been a member of the Thessaloniki Bar Association.

Subsequently, I successfully entered the postgraduate program of studies entitled "International and European Law of Energy" at the Law School of the Democritus University of Thrace, based in Komotini, from which I graduated with honors, receiving a scholarship of excellence from "Hellenic Petroleum S.A." After presenting the thesis entitled "Energy Efficiency as a means of addressing Climate Change: A Critical Presentation and Recent Developments.

Referring to my experience in asylum and immigration law. 

  • I worked at the NGO "European Lawyers in Lesvos" in Mytilene as an Asylum Lawyer,

  • I then worked as a Legal Advisor in an Unaccompanied Minors Facility with the International Organization for Migration - UN (IOM) in Thessaloniki,

  • I worked as a Lawyer at the NGO "Greek Council for Refugees" GCR on Samos island,

  • I worked as a Field Legal Assistant at International Organization for Migration - UN (IOM) in Larisa and Volos,

  • I worked as an Asylum Second Instance Support Expert at European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA) in International Protection Administrative Court (IPAC) in Nicosia, Cyprus.

29/9/20 - 12/11/21: Volunteerism with AsyLex (Non Profit Association based in Zurich) as Legal Advisory (Team Greece, Dublin). 

What language does the lawyer speak?

Greek is my mother language.

Also, I have an official certification of knowledge of the English language at the C2 level :

  1. The Examination for the Certificate of Proficiency in English (ECPE)

  2. LanguageCert Level 3
    Certificate in ESOL International
    (Listening, Reading, Writing) (Mastery C2)

About my Lifelong Training:

I attended numerous training seminars on human rights, international and European legislation and case law on international protection and was certified after specialized training on Asylum Law. I hold 17 training certificates in protection, human rights, gender-based violence and equality as well as conflict, child protection and migration.
